Precision gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) for thin-section metals, delivering cosmetic beads and X-ray-quality joints. Ideal for aerospace, medical, and food-grade components. Heat-affected zone minimized. Meets AWS D1.2, ASME Section IX, and ISO 15614-1 standards. (78 words)
TIG welding services uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and separate filler rod, shielded by argon or helium. Processes include manual, orbital, and automated pulsed TIG. Achieves superior control on thin wall (down to 0.020 in. / 0.5 mm) aluminum, stainless, and exotic alloys with no spatter or slag.

A: 0.020 in. (0.5 mm) on stainless steel and titanium with pulsed TIG and copper backup. For aluminum 6061, minimum reliable thickness is 0.040 in. (1.0 mm) using AC balance at 70% electrode negative.
A: Yes. Calibrated mass spectrometer leak detector, sensitivity to 1×10⁻⁹ std cm³/s He (per ASTM E1603). Report includes leak rate, test pressure (up to 150 psig), and part serialization.
